CLOUDS TURNED BLACK Sign With OPEN GRAVE RECORDS

May 24, 2006

Open Grave Records has announced the signing of Victorville, California's CLOUDS TURNED BLACK. The band first started in 2002 when the founding members departed another project to develop a heavier sound. As time passed, song structure progressed and intensity grew as the lineup became more mature. The group stayed active playing shows all over Southern California, sharing the stage with bands like CURL UP AND DIE, BURY YOUR DEAD, SCARS OF TOMORROW, BEAUTY TO ASHES and countless others. Things didn't really take off until 2005 when the group decided to make music a lifestyle instead of a hobby. With new passion CLOUDS TURNED BLACK was able to deliver their most mature release to date. Their demo, "The Red Seal", utilized melodic yet complex guitar riffs to keep the listener interested while the driving bass lines and thundering drum beats kept the head moving. Sample tracks can be found on CLOUDS TURNED BLACK's MySpace page at at this location.
